Background
Zuiyo Eizo officially split onto two entities on March 1975, the second incarnation of Zuiyo, continued licensing and distribution duties of Heidi while Nippon Animation was created to oversee future productions as well as to continue production on A Dog of Flanders, Heidi, Maya the Bee, Vic the Viking, while inheriting the time slot used for Zuiyo's World Masterpiece Theater series. Officially, Nippon Animation Co., Ltd. was established on June 3, 1975 by company president Kōichi Motohashi.

Visuals: Superimposed on the show,s opening and/or ending sequence os the Nippon Animation wordmark, which consists of the text "日本アニメーション" in a cubic-style script, usually in white.
Technique: A superimposed hand-painted and later, digital graphic.

Availability: Seen on all Nippon Animation productions, beginning with later episodes of Vic the Viking and Maya the Bee.
