Background

People's Productions was a Hong Kong film production company founded in 1990 by directors Lawrence Chong, Gordon Chan and scriptwriter Chan Hing Kai. The company released a number of popular comedies and action dramas. Chan Hing Kai later set up Icon Pictures Limited with Amy Chin and Janet Chun in 2000. Later in 2006, Gordon Chan revived the company and released two last films, Mr. 3 Minutes and Undercover Hidden Dragon.
