"A People's Production" variant
People's Productions is a Hong Kong film production company founded in 1990 by directors Lawrence Chong, Gordon Chan and scriptwriter Chan Hing Kai. The company released a number of popular comedies and action dramas. Chan Hing Kai later set up Icon Pictures Limited with Amy Chin and Janet Chun in 2000. Later in 2006, Gordon Chan revived the company and released two last films, Mr. 3 Minutes and Undercover Hidden Dragon.
Visuals: On a black background, each letter of "PEOPLE'S PRODUCTION" appear on the screen for every split-second. After that, five Chinese characters zoom out and move to its position, reveal the Chinese text "仝人制作社". Just when they get into their position, the text "PEOPLE'S PRODUCTIONS" slide in from left and right respectively.
Variants:
Technique: 2D computer animation.
Audio: None. At least one film has a rising synth noise and ends with a bang when the split-second sequence ended.
Availability: Seen on their films from the time, such as 2000 AD, My Wife is 18, and Mr. 3 Minutes.
Visuals: Same as the Icon Pictures Limited logo, except that it reads the company name, and is colored blue.
