Backgrounnd

Select-A-Tape was a British home entertainment company. They had a sub-label named Midnight Video, which only released nine movies until they folded.

Visuals: On a zooming space background is the "Select a Tape" phrase zooming in on a yellow fancy lettering. "Select" is above, "Tape" under "Select" being the T stylized to be underlining the world "elect". The letter "a" is between"Select" and "Tape" on the right.

Technique: Traditional animation.

Audio: There is a drum roll, when "Select-a-Tape" starts to zoom, a Moog synthesized jingle plays. An announcer says "Select-A-Tape now presents its feature attraction."

Availability: Appeared on The Man Who Skied Down Everest. Select-A-Tape is also credited to Microwave Massacre which was released by Midnight Video, but it's unknown if they received an on-screen credit.
