Logo (Late 1980s?-Early 1990s)

Visuals: Against footage of a black-blue gradient background with golden rays shooting forwards, a cornflower-colored wireframe of a film projector that's facing the back view zooms out and pans to the front view as it settles in. The projector shoots out slow motion footage of a blue wireframed opal with continents expanding further with a residue trail against a black background, engulfing the screen. As it expands to it's corresponding point, the footage freezes and slightly darkens, for the Cantonese text "上海錄影公司" to fade in front of the latter. Seconds later, the sequence changes to a black background, with the main logo flipping into view - an abstract "SVC" made out of film strips - with two pairs of Mandarin text reading "版权所有翻录必究" fading underneath said logo.

Technique: Analog computer animation.

Audio: An echoed ding segued by a brief guitar solo, then to a triumphant fanfare.

Availability: Spotted on a bunch of Robotech tapes.
