Soeishinsha (創映新社) was a Japanese anime studio and production company. They were formed in 1984 as the parent company of Fairy Dust, but went on to directly produce anime through the mid-2000s.
Visuals: We open with a flat black screen that is being cut through the middle by a white line. The line spreads, dividing the screen into three bars - black, white, and black - with a dark blue circle in the centre of the white bar. The circle spins three times, turning around on the final spin to show the Soeishinsha emblem - a white star emerging from three white rings. The black bars pull from frame, leaving a white background. A light beam is reflected off the star in the centre, ending with a subtle twinkle. The background fades from white to blue to black, making the white text "SOEISHINSHA CO. LTD." now visible. The sequence then fades to black.
Technique: Cel animation by A.P.P.P. Co. Ltd.
Audio: As the line cuts across the black screen, a synth "slice" sound effect plays. A synth twinkle sound plays as light hits the star in the Soeishinsha emblem.
Availability: Only appears before Project A-Ko and on all of the film's subsequent re-releases.
Visuals: Just the Soeishinsha emblem and company name in white on a blue background.
Technique: None.
Audio: None.
Availability: Seen on Project A-Ko 2 and Project A-Ko 3.
Visuals: The Soeishinsha emblem and company name appears as white text, overlaid above anime footage. Below it is an early text-only credit for Pony Canyon .
Technique: None.
Audio: None, aside from the anime's diegetic soundtrack.
Availability: Seen on Project A-Ko 4.
