Background

VCR-Film GmbH, Hattersheim was a German home entertainment company founded in 1995. Not much is known about them, other than the fact that they released a VCD series titled VCR Interaktiv, which contains at least two Dingo Pictures films as well as some public domain cartoons.

Logo (1995-1990's)

Visuals: Against footage of the camera zooming from multiple white beams in a dark environment is handwritten text reading "VCR" with an orange curved line under it and a white rectangular border behind it. Text reading "presents" flies in from the top left of the screen and settles inside the "C".

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: A calm synth tune, which continues from the contact bumper.

Availability: It is known to have appeared on the German VCD releases of Aladin and Der König der Tiere.
