Background
Aurum Producciones S.A.U. was a Spanish theatrical distributor that was founded in 1994 and based in Madrid. From the mid-2000's, it operated as a subsidiary of Entertainment One, until it was folded into its parent company in 2013. It is named after a Latin name for gold.
1st Logo (January 10, 1996-1999)
Visuals: The screen fades to a blue background. A huge "R" fades in, then the whole screen zooms out to reveal that the background is actually a rectangle with the other letters of the "AURUM" name moving into their positions. An oval with an "A" is seen behind with a moving light illuminating it. The light stops moving and other lights come out of the letters of the name, one-by-one following the last fanfare notes.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: A triumphant fanfare.
Availability: Seen on Spanish films from the era. [Examples?]It can be also seen on Spanish prints of international and some US movies, such as Citizen X. Also appears on the Spanish VHS of John Q.

Visuals: On a blurry blue background with a film countdown timer, the 3D letters "AURUM" sketch in one-by-one. On the background, the countdown timer fades out and the letters of the company name move in. A transparent oval fades in flipping and the letter "A" gets sketched on it. The letters of AURUM flash one-by-one below the logo and the transparent rectangle behind them is formed by two flashing lines.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: A series of whooshes, followed by another triumphant fanfare, this time with drums.
Availability:
- Seen on Spanish prints of international and some US movies, such as Skyline and Austin Powers.
- It also appears on the Spanish DVD release of The Magic Roundabout (El Tiovivo Mágico).
