Background
Buddha Pictures was a short-lived Indian Tamil language film company founded by director and producer A. Bhim Singh.
Logo (March 14, 1958, March 16, 1961)
Visuals: We see some live action scenes of some natural disasters in this order:
- A tropical storm (presumably a hurricane) in a city shore.
- A thunderstorm.
- An avalanche with some stones falling with the snow.
- A volcanic eruption.
- A river flowing strong.
- A rock slide.
After this, we see a white blob on a black background. Suddenly, we see on a cloudy background a statue of Buddha in front of an ornate halo. The Buddha statue comes towards the camera. When the statue stops moving, petals are thrown onto it and the camera pans down to show:

Presents
in the grass.
Closing Variant (Pava Mannippu): The logo begins on the part of the Buddha, which does the same motion as the previous variant, and the petals are thrown, but in the screen we see "The End" in Tamil, and the camera doesn't pan down.
Technique: Live-action.
Audio: A heavily dramatic fanfare during the natural disasters which jarringly cuts to silence just before the explosion, a religious hymn sung by men in Tamil during the screentime of the Buddha statue.
Audio Variants:
- On Pava Mannippu, a rising harp flourish plays.
- On Pathi Bakthi, the opening theme of the movie plays when the camera pans down.
Availability: Seen on Pathi Bakthi and Pava Mannippu.
