*This logo would come <u>after the 1997 Hanna-Barbera logo</u> from some season 1 & season 2 episodes of Johnny Bravo, season 3 episodes of Cow & Chicken, and several season 2 episodes of Dexter's Laboratory. After the Hanna-Barbera irises out, the Cartoon Network logo zooms in, and the Service Mark symbol appears on the center right of the logo.
**On <u>some season 1 episodes of The Powerpuff Girls and the season 2 episode "Slave the Day"/"Los Dos Mojos"</u>, as well as on <u>Dexter's Laboratory: Ego Trip</u>, the logo comes after the 1998 H-B logo. The logo zooms in from the center of the star along with the white background, and the SM symbol appears as usual.
**This variant forms the basis for the Service Mark (SM) symbol version of the 3rd logo from November 12, 1999 to 2015.
*On <u>some early What-a-Cartoon Show shorts</u>, the logo is up against a purple-white gradient background with text in black reading "HOME OF THE TOP TOON STARS" below. On some airings (particularly on Boomerang), it would appear after the Hanna-Barbera "Comedy All-Stars" or Cartoon Network Studios logos before it was plastered by them.
*On <u>later What-a-Cartoon Show shorts</u>, the logo is up against a black background with a white box around it with no byline. This was later removed from all airings.
* The alternate variant can be found on Stephen W. Brandt's broadcast design reel.

Visuals: On a black background is the 1992-2004 Cartoon Network logo in the middle of the screen. Below it is the (AOL) Time Warner byline (in the Garamond font), and to the center-right of it is the Service Mark or Trade Mark ("SM/TM") symbol inside a circle. Appearing from behind the logo are the turquoise circles used in the 1998 Cartoon Cartoons logo, which stop after the theme is played. If one watches carefully and/or plays the logo in slow motion, there are six circles in the background.
Trivia:
*This logo is based on an intro for Cartoon Cartoons, a block that ran on Cartoon Network from 1997 to 2004. Its original 1999-2015 Service Mark (SM) symbol version is also based on the Hanna Barbera variation of the 1st logo (only that the 1992-2004 CN logo is not shining and in 2D, SM symbol and parent company byline are in white text due to taking place on a black background (except seasons 1 and 2 of DreamWorks Dragons where they are black due to the map background from the credits), and are smaller).
*This logo (taken from the 2013 short Lakewood Plaza Turbo) briefly appeared on the OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes episode "Let's Watch the Pilot".
*If one watches carefully and/or plays the logo in slow motion, there are six circles in the background.
Bylines:
* November 12, 1999-July 29, 2001, November 7, 2003-JulyApril 2225, 20172018: "A Time Warner Company"
* June 8, 2001–March 25, 2005: "An AOL Time Warner Company"
Parent Company Byline Fonts:
* November 12, 1999-May 31, 2009: Garamond
* July 8, 2005-April 25, 2018: Adobe Caslon
Later Variants:
*July 8, 2005-JulyApril 2225, 20172018: The speed of the circles are faster, and the Time Warner byline is now in the Adobe Caslon font. Also, the logo and the byline are slightly larger. This was concurrently used with the original 1999-2009 slower and smaller version until the Scandinavian airing of Ed, Edd n Eddy's Big Picture Show on May 31, 2009.
*May 21, 2014- JulyApril 2225, 20172018: On the last three years of usage of the Ripple endtag, theThe Service Mark ("SM") symbol is now replaced with the Trade Mark ("TM") symbol, which has smaller text, and bolder text and symbol than the original 1999-2015 "SM" symbol version. This is to indicate that Cartoon Network does not only own the shows, movies, and specials, and their brand and copyright, but also the intellectual property as a whole which are other tangible and intangible assets and properties associated with them such as merchandise like toys and DVDs, commercials, soundtracks, and online, video and mobile games through the network's Cartoon Network Games division. ▼
*May 29, 2006-July 22, 2017: The logo is larger and the circles are faster in 4:3.

Other Variants:
*On <u>Australian broadcasts of season 3 of Chowder</u>, the entire show plays in a low tone, thus affecting this logo as well.
*On <u>Re-Animated</u>, <u>Transformers: Animated</u>, and <u>seasons 1 and 2 of DreamWorks Dragons</u>, the ending theme of the show is used.
*Sometimes, the logo has no audio or silent.
*On the <u>short version</u>, only the last four notes of the music are used.
*On <u>some season 2 episodes of Courage the Cowardly Dog</u>, the music is PAL-pitched (high-tone).
*On some international airings of Cartoon Network shows, the retro four-note version of the 2010 CN jingle from the 10th logo plays over the endtag.
Availability: Seen on Cartoon Network shows that were originally produced from November 12, 1999 to November 10, 2016 and distributed (original airings or widespread release to a particular media such as online) until JulyApril 2225, 20172018. Its first appearance was on an Australian airing of The Powerpuff Girls (original series) episode "A Very Special Blossom/Daylight Savings" on November 12, 1999, and it was last used on thean online release of MightySummer MagiswordsCamp Island episode "Letter Wronging Campaign", originally produced in 2016 and airedshort on JulyApril 2225, 20172018.

*Broadcasts of Cartoon Network originals in the U.S. before June 14, 2004 would usually replace this logo with a Cartoon Cartoons or Cartoon Cartoon Fridays/Weekend endcap.
*This logo is also seen on Regular Show episodes on iTunes, plastering the Cartoon Network Studios logo, as well as episodes of the show seen on demand and on the CN app.
*This logo can also be seen on every post-1999 Cartoon Network show on DVD (such as season box sets of The Powerpuff Girls, Samurai Jack, Adventure Time and Regular Show, as well as various Cartoon Network compilation DVD releases).
*It appears on the "Best Of" DVD release of Codename: Kids Next Door as well as the show itself, but the show was never given a complete series release; it was also removed from iTunes, the PlayStation Network and Netflix in the mid-2010s (and later HBO Max in January 2024). The show is now hard to find outside of Prime Video, Fandago Streaming and unofficial uploads.
*Also seen on the sneak peek, on demand, and CN app versions of Uncle Grandpa.
*It is also seen on European co-productions such as Chop Socky Chooks, Hero 108, and My Spy Family.
*Sometimes, the logo stays still even after the Cartoon Cartoons music plays and turquoise circles stop from appearing for a few seconds before either cutting into black or the program ends for TV broadcasts.
*The original 1999-2015 Service Mark (SM) symbol version is seen on episodes of CN shows, films, and shorts that were originally produced from November 12, 1999 to late 2014 and aireddistributed until 2015 (such as The Powerpuff Girls, Ben 10, Ben 10: Alien Force, Ben 10: Ultimate Alien, most episodes of Ben 10: Omniverse (episodes 1-77; 80, from "The More Things Change: Part 1" to "Malgax Attacks" and "A New Dawn" (with the latter being the final episode of the series and Classic Continuity of Ben 10 franchise as well as the franchise's 151st-227th and 230th episode overall)), some episodes of Adventure Time, Steven Universe, Uncle Grandpa, Regular Show, etc.) while the 2014-2016 Trade Mark (TM) symbol version is seen on episodes, films, and shorts that were produced from May 21, 2014 to November 10, 2016 and aireddistributed until JulyApril 2225, 20172018 (such as the 2016 Powerpuff Girls reboot, We Bare Bears, 78th and 79th episode ("The Most Dangerous Show" and "The End of an Era") of Ben 10: Omniverse (the antepenultimate and penultimate episodes of the series and franchise's Classic Continuity as well as its 228th and 229th episode overall), some season 1 episodes of the 2016 Ben 10 reboot, etc.).
*The last Cartoon Network short to use this logo is Lasso & Comet, a Cartoon Network Asia short, while the last Cartoon Network original series to use this logo is Ben 10 2016 reboot.
*The last Cartoon Network short to use this logo is Summer Camp Island first shown on SXSW Festival on March 17, 2016 and widely released via online on YouTube on April 25, 2018, while the last Cartoon Network original series to use this logo is Mighty Magiswords on Romanian, Turkish, and Hungarian airing of an episode "Letter Wronging Campaign" in February 1, 2018 six months after being aired in the United States (with the endtag edited out on US airings of the show) on July 22, 2017.
*This logo was concurrently used with the 2015-2021 Exploding Blocks endtag from June 18, 2015 to JulyApril 2225, 20172018.
Legacy: Considered a favorite of many due to its longevity, and is well-remembered for those who grew up watching Cartoon Network shows. The logo is also known by the unofficial nickname "Ripple" due to the circles appearing behind the logo while the Cartoon Cartoons music plays.
Audio: Cartoonish bouncing sounds.
Availability: It was only seen on Ben 10: Race Against Time. Instead of using the Cartoon Network Studios logo before the 1999-20172018 Ripple endtag, this logo is used (this is because the film was produced by Alive and Kicking, Inc., a live-action division of CNS that doesn't have its own logo).

Visuals: An end tagendtag featuring the 2010 Cartoon Network logo, exceptwith the copyright information is shown on some variants.
Variants:
Audio:
*The same seven last notes of the Cartoon Cartoons jingle from the 1999-20172018 Ripple endtag, composed by Stephen Mank, was used on two animated shorts that were produced on Asia in 2013 which are Season 1 of Animal Control and The Fog of Courage. The latter has the jingle slightly lower pitched and aired in 2014.
*On some episodes of Bill and Tony and Season 2 of Animal Control, the swoosh sound effect is used.
*On Lamput and newer episodes of Bill and Tony, the current 4-note jingle is used with the conjunction of the current logo's sound effect.
Availability:
*Animated variant: This is only used on animated shorts that are airing in Asia. The seven last notes of the Cartoon Cartoons variant from the 3rd logo can be found in TheSeason Fog1 of CourageAnimal (which hasnControlt been aired in the United States yet) and SeasonThe 1Fog of Animal ControlCourage. The textless variant can be found on Season 2 of Animal Control. The white background variant can be found on Bill and Tony, as well as Lamput, which is on HBO Max in the US.
*In-credit variant: Currently used on Cartoon Network co-productions such as Total DramaRama, Bakugan: Battle Planet, Bakugan: Armored Alliance, Power Players, the Care Bears: Unlock the Magic half-hour specials and the 2023 revival of Total Drama Island. This logo is sometimes removed on non-US prints of these shows.
*From June 14, 2018 to 2019 upon changing the name of Turner Broadcasting System's (Cartoon Network's parent company) parent Time Warner to WarnerMedia due to AT&T acquisition of the company, the copyright information at the end of credits of any CN original uses the name of Cartoon Network Studios instead of Cartoon Network. Despite this, this logo continued to be used for CN Studios-produced shows until Ben 10 (reboot) 112th and franchise's 350th episode overall "Roundabout: Part 2" on July 26, 2019, and non-CN Studios shows until Elliott from Earth (production spanned from 2018 to 2020) on April 9, 2021, because Cartoon Network Productions serves as the network's global distribution arm while Cartoon Network Studios produces shows for the network.
* The last appearance of this endtag for CN Studios-produced shows was Ben 10 reboot episode "Roundabout: Part 2" aired in the United Kingdom on July 26, 2019. After this, the endtag is no longer used on episodes of Cartoon Network original series, pilots, and films that were produced in the United States due to Cartoon Network and CN Studios became part of Warner Bros. Entertainment (with Warner Bros. being the new distributor for CN shows) as a result of the dissolution of Turner Broadcasting System on March 4, 2019 (with the last CN original series to use the Exploding Blocks endtag or in general, Cartoon Network Productions logo, is Ben 10 reboot and the first CN original series to not use the said endtag is Mao Mao: Heroes of Pure Heart, while the first CN movie not to use the CNP logo is Steven Universe: The Movie). As a result, they simply end with the CN Studios logo. However, despite this, the show's distributor (under the name of Cartoon Network or its corporate name The Cartoon Network, Inc.) continued to be used from 2019 months after the logo's discontinuation on CN Studios-produced shows to 2023 as a copyright stamp at the end of credits, and on non-CN Studios produced shows until April 9, 2021.
*This logo was concurrently used with the 1999-20172018 Ripple endtag from June 18, 2015 to JulyApril 2225, 20172018.
11th Logo (Redraw Your World) (January 1, 2022-)
This list only shows for those produced and distributed in the United States. Outside the US, the copyright information related to Cartoon Network varies, with some even stating the parent company of CN's international channels as distributor. From 2018 to 2019, the name of the show's producer Cartoon Network Studios was instead used as a copyright stamp. It then reverted back to show distributor Cartoon Network Productions (under the name of Cartoon Network or its corporate name The Cartoon Network, Inc.) in 2019 which was used until 2023 where from that year, the Warner Bros. Entertainment name is now used. The CN copyright information is still used even after the Exploding Blocks endtag was discontinued on July 24, 2019 (Cartoon Network Studios-produced shows) and April 9, 2021 (Elliott from Earth) from 2019 to 2023. Since 2022, the disclaimer "This motion picture is protected under the copyright laws of the United States and other countries throughout the world. Country of first publication: United States. Any unauthorized exhibition, distribution, or copying of this film or any part thereof (including soundtrack) may result in civil liability and criminal prosecution." was added below the copyright stamp.
