Background

E.V.V. Cinema is an Indian Telugu language film company founded in 2000 by E.V.V. Sathyanarayana.

Logo (February 18, 2000-)

Visuals: On a dark blue cloudy background, lightning flashes. Then, the camera moves down to reveal a mountainscape and the ground, while more lightning strikes appear. One of the lightning bolts strikes the ground, causing it to suffer a fissure vent, and two golden filmstrips come out of the fissure. Later, a camera (which, if you look closely, has the text "ARRI" on one of its filmstrip wheels) and some spotlights come out following it. One of these focuses to the center of the screen, and brightens the screen into a transition effect, when it appears again on the fissure, and there are some rocks. The camera cuts in some positions of the rocks emerging from the fissure, in the middle of the various lightning flashes. Finally, the camera moves from a position in the rocks to show the full structure of the rocks, which actually consists of a large "EVV", with a smaller "CINEMA", above the mountain. Lightning strikes keep appearing until the logo ends.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Very loud thunderclaps at the beginning, static noises as the filmstrips, camera, and spotlights come out, which then segue into a dramatic fanfare (which sounds like the theme used on the movie Ben-Hur) as the thunderclaps come back and the letters come out.

Audio Variant: Starting with Athili Sattibabu LKG, more static noises were added, but there were new sounds added in the logo like the "shing" sounds. The thunderclaps are also altered.

Availability: Seen on the films released by the company, like Fitting Master.
