Background
Golden Moon Creations was a small Indian film company founded in the 1980's.
Logo (November 1, 1986)
Visuals: The sequence starts on a star-like background that constantly moves. Almost immediately, a flash/shine effect occurs in the top-right corner, revealing a weird-looking "G", an "M" inside a circle and a "C". Above the "M", there is a star. It zooms out into the center of the screen. Next, some text that reads, "GOLDEN MOON CREATIONS" in a handwriting style appears. It stays like that until the logo ends.
Technique: A mix of computer effects and cel animation.
Audio: A strum with a swarmandal, followed by a rhythmical melody with a sitar. It closes with another strum with the swarmandal.
Availability: Seen on the film Pudhiya Poovithu (which was one of the last Tamil films to utilize B&W film prints).
