Background
Kokuei Company (国映株式会社) is a Japanese film studio most famous for its pinku eiga (pink film) titles.
1st Logo (September 1965)
Visuals: On a black background, there is a white outlined circle with kanji "国映" (in a compressed style) and the Japanese name "配給 国映株式会社" meaning "DISTRIBUTED BY KOKUEI COMPANY" in white below.
Technique: A still, printed image.
Audio: None.
Availability: Appears on Koji Wakamatsu's 歪んだ関係.
2nd Logo (June 9, 1966-1990s?)
Visuals: There is a black screen, which then gets engulfed by live-action fire. As the fire covers up the whole screen, the emblem from before and the Japanese name "国映株式会社" below rises up to the center.
Variant: There are some black and white and colorized versions.
Technique: Live-action practical effects.
Audio: A low-pitched, menacing ambient theme.
Availability: Seen on their pink film releases such as The Black Snow, Sex Family and Tears of Ecstasy.
