Background
Shochiku Bunka Eiga was the bunka eiga (culture film) division of Shochiku. In May 1941, Shochiku Bunka Eiga as well as Toho Bunka Eiga (Toho's documentary film department) were absorbed into the newsreel company Nippon Eigasha (formerly Nippon News Eigasha).
