Background
Korea Pictures Co., Ltd. started as a film investment company in 1998, founded by Jeong Heon-jo. Around late 2005-early 2006, it ceased operations after the film Blue Swallow failed to do well at the box office.
Logo (March 31, 2001-December 29, 2005)
Visuals: The sequence starts with a princess (or a lady) flying on a cloudy landscape at sunset. After a minute, the scene cuts to a second part, which then flies to a end at left corner, which becames into a carving statue. Not so long after, the water then "ripples" on the left of carving, which makes "KOREA PICTURES" in serif font appears on the right and the background cloudy. After that, the yellow left-cut triangle then appears over "A" and "P".
Technique: CGI.
Audio: It starts with an orchestral flute tune, before ending in a instrumental strings, culminating in a sharpen sound at the end, then a bell toll during the water rippling.
Availability: It was found on many films from the company, such as Make It Big and My Little Bride. It also appears on Korean prints of foreign movies, such as The Aviator.
