Películas Rodríguez
Camenati
Logo (November 7, 1968)
Visuals: An oil painting of a lake against a mountainous valley as well as a group of cactuses on the right, which includes a golden eagle on a prickly pear cactus eating a rattlesnake, is shown. "Películas Rodríguez, S.A." spins towards the screen and stops at a normal angle. Moments later, "presenta", also in white, emerges to the latter row of text's bottom right, which darkens the screen and allows it to fade to black.
Trivia: The painting is based on the legend that the Aztecs, coming across an eagle eating a snake on the top of a lake, found the place to build Tenochtitlan. This is the inspiration for the Mexican coat of arms.
Technique: Cel animation.
Audio: A horn fanfare plays, which, while a cymbal crash plays at the start, ascends while the text spins. A two note stinger from said instrument is performed when the text stops spinning.
Availability: The logo is seen on Autopsia de un fantasma.
