Background

Prabhakar Pictures was a film production company from India.

1st Logo (April 13, 1946-August 11, 1952)

Visuals: On a rocky landscape, there is a statue of a man on a carriage with horses. Above the statue we see the sun. Below the statue is the name of the company in Marathi.

Technique: Live-action models

Audio: An incoherent trumpet fanfare with drums.

Availability: Seen at the beginning and the closing of Valmiki, Shilanganache Sone, Jai Bhawani and Chhatrapati Shivaji.

2nd Logo (January 8, 1954)

Visuals: In a dark setting, there is a silhouette of a statue of a god/goddess. Behind the silhouette is a big light, like the sun. Then, some lights are turned on to reveal the entire statue of a God. The statue consists a crown with a sun above it, some pendants, a cape (which is waving in the air) and a shawl, which covers a part of its body. It also has its right palm up. The statue is on top of a platform, which is on a table. Below, in both sides, there's smoke from the candles. Some petals are thrown from the upper part of the screen. The company name doesn't appear.

Technique: Live-action.

Audio: Same as the previous logo.

Availability: Seen at the beginning and the closing of Maharani Yesubai.
