1st Logo (March 1, 1957-July 1, 1964)
Visuals: There is a black and white silhouette of the side of the logo. It then rotates to show a man playing a sitar on top of two large Ps that are side by side on top of a pedestal with the company's name and "MADRAS" on it .
Technique: Live-action model work.
Audio: A relaxing sitar tune.
Availability: Seen on Sasural, Chhoti Bahen, Beti Bete, Sharadaand Hamrahi.
2nd Logo (April 25, 1969-May 2, 1986)
Visuals: Similar to the previous logo, but the logo is on a red background, the statue seems to be made with bronze, and the "PP" and pedestal are white/light blue/yellow (depending on the movie). In addition, this time, the pedestal contains only the name of the company in yellow or dark red.
Variant: On some films, the man touching the sitar is left-handed, and in other films is right-handed.
Technique: Live-action model work.
Audio: The sitar tune from the previous logo.

3rd Logo (February 9, 2012)
Visuals: On a black background with moving red lights, there is a close up of the same man but now golden textured under a golden textured "PP", with a transparent Indian circle design on it. Then the camera zooms out to reveal the more of the statue, which is now in golden texture standing in a golden shiny texture on a golden textured floor, and then the logo finally stops. The lens flare can be seen during the logo.
Technique: CGI.
