Prathima Films was a film company formed in India in 1981 by Pranlal V. Mehta.



1st Logo (July 3, 1981-September 23, 1988, October 30, 1992-January 7, 1994)

Visuals: A statue of Ganesh appears with sparkles animating in the background. Afterwards, a P symbol slowly forms line by line, and the company's name "Prathima Films" appear letter by letter.

Trivia: The same statue and setting of Ganesh in this logo can be seen on a scene from Hum Se Badkar Kaun where people are praying and celebrating the god with dancing and festivities.

Variant: On Woh Phir Aayegi and Zid, only the statue of Ganesh is shown, which is now shown close-up to its face.

Technique: Live-action and traditional animation.

Audio: An Indian male singing, followed by a synth theme.

Audio Variant: On Hum Se Badkar Kaun, the synth theme is shorter and a typewriter sound is made when the company name appears.

Visuals: On a black background, there are three bronze rectangles zoom out, forming a "P", which looks similar to the 1st logo's, except the rectangle at the end is longer. It then flashes as "Prathima Films" turns and zooms out to stop next to the P. The P then stops shining, as some light wipes on it.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A deep piano note, followed by a calm piano piece.

Availability: Only seen on Yugpurush.
