Background
Promise Pictures was an Indian film company that produced Hindi films from the early 1990's until its closure sometime on early 2000's.
1st Logo (January 22, 1990)
Visuals: The logo starts with live-action footage of the sunset. After a few seconds, the sun turns into the statue footage from the Sham Ralhan Productions logo. Then it zooms in, and then the statue shoots the sky-blue words "Promise Pictures". Finally it freezes (except for the words) for about 12 seconds and the logo fades out.
Technique: A mix of live action and traditional animation.
Audio: The second part of the song "Vich Parvat De Maa" by Minoo Chadha and Mahendra Kapoor.
Availability: Only seen on Jaan Lada Denge.
2nd Logo (May 26, 2000)
Visuals: On a fiery blue background, there is a silhouette of a statue. It then reveals to be a religious statue as the camera slightly zooms in. The camera holds on it until it cuts to three kids (two boys and a girl) praying to the statue. It then cuts back to the statue before it cuts back to the kids, who are throwing petals towards the statue.
Technique: Live-action.
Audio: A sitar melody, before a vocal chorus begins praying; this is taken from the fourth Vijayashree Pictures logo, but higher pitched.
Audio Trivia: In Hinduism, the word Om is meant to be the sound of the universe, encompassing all other sounds.
Availability: Only seen on Khooni No. 1.
