1st Logo (December 20, 1974)
Visuals: On a black background, underneath a six-color rainbow is the following text in white:
HOWARD ZUKER/HENRY JAGLOM
RAINBOW PICTURES
PRESENTATION
Technique: A printed image made using traditional ink-and-paint.
Audio: None.
Availability: Its only known appearance was at the end of Hearts and Minds. While the 2002 Criterion Collection DVD of the film preserves this logo, the 2014 home media release replaces it with a preservation text.
2nd Logo (December 15, 1976)
Visuals: Superimposed into the end credits of the movie, the arched text "A RAINBOW PICTURE" with a small shadow sticking out wipes in.
Technique: A wiping effect.
Audio: The ending theme of the movie.
Availability: Only seen at the end of Tracks. On-demand prints of the film preserve this logo.
