'''Editor's Note:''' This logo is just a Indian copycat of the 1994 [[20th Century Studios|20th Century Fox]] logo, with cheap animation (though is in better quality in the variant) and the blatant steal of the 1982 fanfare from the company's 1981 logo (though ''Law and Order'' has its own theme for the logo however).

'''Visuals:''' An exact copy of the 1994 20th Century Fox logo, complete with the panning (only that in one point it is slower) and the searchlights swooping across the screen, but with the "20th Century Fox" text replaced with the Kannada words "ರಾಮು ಫಿಲಂಸ್" (2004-2007) or "ರಾಮು ಎಂಟರ್‌ಪ್ರೈಸಸ್" (2007-2011), and the Los Angeles skyline is much different, lacking the Hollywood sign. When the camera settles, the subtitle "RAMU FILMS" (2004-2007) or "RAMU ENTERPRISES" (2007-2011) fades in below the structure replacing the original News Corporation byline seen on the source logo.

Background

Ramu Films is an Indian Kannada-language film company founded in 1993 by the film producer Ramu, originally named as Ramu Enterprises.

1st Logo (June 18, 1999-2002, July 30, 2010)

Visuals: On a midnight background, there is a 20th Century Fox-esque tower that consists of the stacked text "RAMU ENTERPRISES", which is in a bold Gill Sans font. The tower has two rows, the searchlights are in a different position, and the color is changed a bit.

Variant: An enhanced variant of the logo debuted with Law and Order.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: The 1982 20th Century Fox fanfare, but high-pitched and with a part of the drumroll at the beginning cut. A whoosh also plays once the logo starts. Gandede has the John Williams fanfare, but with the drumroll and whoosh cut. Law and Order used a heroic fanfare.

Availability: The logo can be seen on A.K. 47 and Chamundi, and the enhanced variant has appeared with Gandede.

2nd Logo (January 3, 2003-February 27, 2004)

Visuals: On a black background, a crystal sphere with blue rays flies to the camera and shatters. 2D golden stars fly to the shattered object, then a golden 3D star forms. It then shines and flashes until it becomes the company name, in Kannada ("ರಾಮು ಎಂಟರ್‌ಪ್ರೈಸಸ್") and afterwards in English, reading "RAMU enterprises". The text then materializes into the background.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A bombastic fanfare, which is actually "Glorious Finale" by Peter Siedlaczek.

Availability: Seen on Hollywood and Malla. Filmed variants also exist.

3rd Logo (April 28, 2004-January 21, 2011)

Visuals: An exact copy of the 1994 20th Century Fox logo, complete with the panning (only that in one point it is slower) and the searchlights swooping across the screen, but with the "20th Century Fox" text replaced with the Kannada words "ರಾಮು ಫಿಲಂಸ್" (2004-2007) or "ರಾಮು ಎಂಟರ್‌ಪ್ರೈಸಸ್" (2007-2011), and the Los Angeles skyline is much different, lacking the Hollywood sign. When the camera settles, the subtitle "RAMU FILMS" (2004-2007) or "RAMU ENTERPRISES" (2007-2011) fades in below the structure replacing the original News Corporation byline seen on the source logo.

Variants:

  • Kanteerava had a sepia-style tint through the logo.
  • Filmed variants also exist.
  • A variant with a bluish tint also exists.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: It differs from any film:

  • On Durgi (the first film to use this logo), The Discharge by Trevor Rabin and Mark Mancina (a track from the American movie Con Air) plays.
  • Kalasipalya and Rakshasa had a loud majestic fanfare.
  • Auto Shankar, Thavarina Siri and Preethigagi had the logo with a dramatic orchestral fanfare.
  • Masti and Gulama had a news-like fanfare.
  • Gooli had the complete 1997 20th Century Fox fanfare, but high pitched with some loud whooshes.
  • Kannadadha Kiran Bedi had a heroic fanfare.
  • Kanteerava had the complete 20th Century Fox fanfare again, (In this case, they use the John Williams fanfare) with the 1st half of the drumroll repeated twice.
  • Shivajinagara had a heroic fanfare as well, albeit with a different medley.

Availability: First seen on Durgi, and the 2007 version debuted on Masti. The 2004 version appeared on Shivajinagara.

4th Logo (July 15, 2009)

Visuals: On an ocean against a blue sky, some helicopters fly until they reach the word "RAMU ENTERPRISES", which is in gold, floating above the ocean, behind an iceberg. Underneath, the helicopters fly below the wordmark.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Sounds of the helicopters flying.

Availability: Seen on Rajani.

5th Logo (January 6, 2012-May 23, 2013)

Visuals: In space, there is a flash that makes each letter of "RAMU" in a holographic sparkling style. After, the holographic word turns silver and the letters of "ENTERPRISES" zoom-out, one by one. The logo receives a bright yellow line and two comes transform the company's name into its Kannada name, which shines.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Sounds of whooshes and glass sparkles, accompanied by a dramatic deep fanfare.

Availability: Seen on Shakthi, Sagar and Election.

6th Logo (October 22, 2015-2018)

Visuals: Similar to the "Ramu Films" variant of the 3rd logo, but more cheaper and the colors on the structure are different, and the sky is now a blue night sky backdrop, similar to the 1953 20th Century Fox logo. As the camera takes its place, two searchlights swoop in the screen, turning the Kannada text to "RAMU FILMS", with "RAMU" in a tall Agency FB-like font and "FILMS" in Arial.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: The opening theme of the movie. Sometimes the theme from Masti and Gulama on the third logo is used. None on the company's website.

Availability: Seen on films such as Ganga. Also seen on their website.
