Background

Screen 2 Releasing is an American film production company.

Logo (August 7, 2011)

Visuals: On a black background, cool-tinted, rapidly spinning rings spread out to the outer portion of the screen, leaving a large blank center. Within said area, "372", in white, zooms in and stops. All but "2" disappears afterwards. Then, the number shrinks to the right so that "SCREEN" appears next to it. Next, "releasing" in Courier appears below. The text disappears and the background fades out.

Technique: Scanimate and 2D computer animation.

Audio: A deep synth arpeggio plays throughout. Before the emergence of "372", a synth chime track starts playing, which ends with a high pitched and a warbling synth note.

Availability: The logo is seen on L.A. Maniac.
