Background

Shri Gouri Pictures was a film production company from India.

Logo (5 March 1951)

Visuals: The screen fades in on black to a background with numerous amount rocky pillars and a stormy/sunny sky. Over it, there's a statue of Parvati (who also goes by the name of Gauri) which holds two knives and a trident, among other things (like a headband on her head) Standing on one of the pillars. Then, the text in Marathi, which translates into "Shri Gouri Pictures" and below it, the text which translates to "Kolhapur" appears below of it, both unfold from the bottom of the screen. Then after a couple of seconds of staying still, they unfold and then curtains appear from the background, causing the logo to end.

Technique: Practical effects.

Audio: A note made by some wind instruments, segueing into a very catchy traditional Indian composition which ends into another note of a wind instrument.

Availability: Only seen on Swarajyacha Shiledar.
