Background

Starfilm was an Egyptian Cairo-based film production company founded by film producer Tawfik El Sabahi.

Logo (January 8, 1962-January 6, 1964)

Visuals: The logo starts with the camera zooming away from an illustration of an outlined woman kneeling above a solid earth holding a flaming torch, all while extending her left arm towards the left side on a grey background. Later on, two grey rectangles containing the company name in English and a serif font on the left rectangle and the Arabic translation on the right rectangle fade in right next to the woman and zoom in before stopping when it gets considerably large. This is followed by another pair of rectangles, now more flat, rising from the bottom and sitting right below the company names, both of which contain the outlined English and Arabic translations of "TAWFIK EL SABAHI," the company's founder. Finally, a white "يقدم" fades in front of the earth and zooms in until it sits below and between the four rectangles.

Technique: Camera-controlled animation and chroma-keyed effects.

Audio: A trumpet solo that transitions to a triumphant fanfare when the text stops zooming, ending with the last note being held as well as a drumroll and a cymbal crash.

Audio Variants: On مع الناس, it uses the opening theme of the film.
