Background
Sri Thenandal Films was founded in 1976 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. It was founded by Rama Narayanan.
Logo (December 18, 2014)
Visuals: On a black background with a purple light in it, the golden text "SINCE 1976" zooms in, where the purple light then expands. Various blue squares appear on the background, as a filmstrip flies in, followed by more filmstrips, which then form a sphere. The sphere then flashes to bring forth a golden idol of the god Thenandal. The golden text "ஸ்ரீ தேனண்டல் பிலிம்ஸ்" ("Sri Thenandal Films") then flies from the idol from the bottom part of the screen.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: The whooshes from the 2001 Lionsgate Home Entertainment logo, followed by the 2006 Lionsgate fanfare, with additional whooshes during the forming of the logo.
