1st Logo (November 7, 1957-June 17, 1978)

Visuals: Settled on a light/dark background, a circle with a man's head in it along with a Hindi script in an arc above and below, as well as two plants on both sides is shown. The white text "VIKRAM PRODUCTIONS MADRAS" with two six-pointed stars is shown wrapped around the circle.

Variants:

  • On Kutumba Gauravam, the logo appears to be really dark.
  • On Prathigne and Mahasathi Anasuya, the logo zooms in.
  • On Amarasilpi Jakkanna, the logo not only zooms in but appears to flash red and green.
  • On Bhai Bahen and Suli, the logo is colored into a sepia tone.

Technique: A still painted graphic.

Audio: A majestic horn fanfare.

Audio Variant: On Kutumba Gauravam, a gong crashing noise was used.

Availability: Only seen on Kutumba Gauravam, Rajya Malaya Simha, Dashavathara, Amarasilpi Jakkanna, Prathigne, Mahasathi Anasuya, Bhai Bahen, Mr. Rajkumar, and Suli.

2nd Logo (April 15, 1964)

Visuals: On a starfield, a yellow man's hair zooms out, along with his face afterwards. A yellow dotted ring zooms out afterwards, and the white Hindi script zooms out above and below respectively. The red plants zoom out also, and the circle turns cyan. The yellow text "VIKRAM PRODUCTIONS" and the blue text "BANGALORE" zoom out respectively, and the red six-ponted stars fade in between them. A red outline fades in, and the logo soon flashes.

Technique: Traditional animation.

Audio: Same as before.

Availability: Only seen on Amarasilpi Jakkannachari.
