Background

Visnews Production was a film company from United Kingdom.

1st Logo (1970s)

Visuals: On a black background, there are two white arcs surrounding an abstract camera-like shape, consisting of three vertical/diagonal thin bars, a parallelogram and three thick bars with pointy ends attached to the former. Below it is "VISNEWS PRODUCTION". It is all enclosed by an orange border.

Technique: Digital graphic.

Audio: The closing theme.

Availability: So far shown on the obscure series Window.

2nd Logo (Early 1980s)


Visuals: On a blue background, a white dot flashes in and rotates into the Visnews "windmill" logo, while an outer box is drawn. Underneath, a white caption "A Visnews Production" flashes in, letter by letter, within the box.

Technique: Backlit cel animation.
