Background

18 Reels is an Indian Tamil-language film production company headquartered in Chennai.

1st Logo (January 31, 2020)

Visuals: On a black background with a flashing green-tinted light on the left, the screen pans around multiple times surrounding digital pieces floating and flying around, forming the logo using its outline, consisting of a stylized film camera symbol on top of "18 REELS> Eventually, the logo by itself, in silver and with yellow-green depth, appears by itself besides a growing green ball of light. Then, the screen flashes to show "SP CHOWDHARY PRESENTS in the same format as the logo.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Alongside digital beeping sounds, a gentle synthesized piano track alongside a soft chord plays.

Availability: The logo is seen on Dagaalty.

2nd Logo (December 30, 2022)

Visuals: The screen pans out of dark, gold-blue tinted gear machinery where the gears spin to merge rusted pieces of "18". The number becomes gold and the background fades out as a two-layered thin white square border, with a rounded upper left corner, fades around the number alongside a red splatter transition for its fill. Afterward, the logo zooms out to the left where "REELS" turns in letter by letter while a small spark of light scrolls below.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Gears turning as well as whooshing are heard while a mysterious piano soundtrack is performed.
