Background

Base Production was a film company owned by Andrew Lau, also a founder of Basic Pictures, which only produced one film.

Logo (October 23, 2003)

Visuals: On a black background with a blue light, some 3D blue objects unite to form a screen with a ball colored cyan and white (a la 1976 Rede Globo symbol). The symbol flips and brightens, with "Base Production" and its Chinese translation appearing below.

Technique: CGI. Like the Basic Pictures logo, it was done by Menfond Electronic Art & Computer Design Co., Ltd.

Audio: A synth drone with a "ping" sound.

Availability: Only seen on The Park.
