Background

Carbs Film is a Malmö-based film production company.

Logo (January 31, 2021-)

Visuals: On a black background with a faint radial spotlight in the centre, a piece of popcorn forms, followed by red female lips that open wide and chew on it. The body part morphs into an eye with green pupils, staring at the screen for a few seconds before closing and releasing its eyelashes to form "FILM", in red, below. The eye opens up to show "CARBS", also in red and a serif font, within.

Variant: On Vi var barn då, the logo is shortened and in grayscale.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: Lightst turning on and film rolling sounds play first. Reversed plastic contact-like sounds play for the formation of the popcorn and lips. Then, there is a single chew, ending the first sounds of the sequence. Several rising idiophonic sounds start playing, leading to a rising whoosh/shine stinger.
