Background

DRagonFLIX is a British low-budget film production company.

1st Logo (April 4, 2011)

Visuals: On a black background, three horizontal pieces of "DRAGONFLIX" slide in from the right (the upper and lower masks) and the left (center) respectively, merging in the center. After the bottom two pieces shift back and forth opposite of each other, all three slide away either upwards or downwards.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: None.

Availability: The logo is seen on Kannibal.

2nd Logo (January 30, 2012-March 6, 2017)

Visuals: On a nighttime sky background with dark blue clouds on the bottom, gold, and red smoking light paths trail and race each other. The shot changes a few times to show the two gaining the heads of dragons on their front ends as they swirl around their disappearing paths. Then, they combine and combust in the centre, unveiling a vector graphic of a dragon with stylised wings on top of "DRagon". All but the text's black fill is red. Afterward, the background fades to black.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Howling and fiery whooshing plays alongside wind and combusting.

Availability: The logo is seen on Eldorado and Zombie Games.

3rd Logo (January 1, 2021)

Visuals: Superimposed on the opening animation of the film, the logo from before, with the dragon in light blue and the text now reading "DRagonFLIX ORIGINAL", with "DRagon" in the Disney typeface and red, zooms in and stops at a small size. Later, the logo glitches and cuts away.

Technique: Zooming effects.

Audio: A film projector rolling and a glitch effect at the end.

Availability: The logo is seen on Zombie Games.

4th Logo (March 1, 2024)

Visuals: The screen pans from a side to front view of a complex set of rotating gears on a dark blue background, zooming out in the straight direction afterward. Then, it is shown the gears are within a vault as the vault door, containing the dragon symbol from before in a metallic texture in the centre, closes.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: The sound of gears rolling and clicking in a sequential order. Later, a metallic bang plays followed by stuttering. Throughout, a soft orchestral score plays, beginning with a high pitched violin track followed by a few, held deep string notes.

Availability: The logo is seen on Once Upon a Time in Hollyweird.
