Background

Epoch Films is an American-British film and music video production company founded in 1989.



1st Logo (June 19, 2009)

Visuals: On a black background, a solid red square contains the letters "epch" on one side of the box's edge while surrounding the "o". Fading in below, there is "EPOCH FILMS", in a stacked format and red color.

Technique: Fading effects.

Audio: None.

Availability: The logo is seen on Gigantic.

2nd Logo (December 14, 2014)

Visuals: "EPOCH." is shown in white and inside a blue rectangular box.

Technique: A still, digital graphic.

Audio: The closing theme of the film.

Availability: The logo is seen on Goodbye to All That.

3rd Logo (August 14, 2024)

Visuals: On a black background, the text from before is in blue and zooms out through the "O"'s counter to the next copy, initially in white before changing to blue after stopping. The sequence repeats twice before the letters briefly flicker in and off before changing to a solid white background featuring said text in black and a small scale. The period mark briefly becomes blue before reverting to black.

Technique: Flash animation.

Audio: Beginning with a high-pitched female choral note, an assortment of percussion-driven sounds are then performed, ending with ticking.

Availability: The logo is seen on the end of Daughters.
