Background
Far East (H.K.) Film Company (遠東影業公司) was a Hong Kong film production company.
1st Logo (October 4, 1972)
Visuals: On a red background, a square containing the letters "FE" in bronze is seen, with a white silhouette of a galloping horse over it. To the right of it is "遠東(香港)影業公司" (reading right-to-left) with "FAR EAST (H.K.) FILM CO." beneath it.
Technique: A still shot of a model.
Audio: "Fanfares #3" composed by Mark Winter from the Valentino Music Library.
Availability: This logo can be seen on The Brutal Boxer (唐人客)
2nd Logo (October 1973-1975)
Visuals: On a dark background with floating specks of light, a golden wreath is seen. "FE" in gold fades in within the wreath and shines as "遠東香港影業公司" in a curved font fades in, reading right-to-left and flanking the wreath ("遠東香港" is to the right of the wreath and "影業公司" is to the left). After a few seconds, the Chinese text fades into "FAREAST SCOPE".
Technique: Practical effects and cel animation.
Audio: A triumphant stock fanfare.
Availability: This logo can be seen on The Thunder Kick (一網打盡), Bloody Ring (死亡挑戰), and The Chinese Tiger (唐山猛虎).
