Background

Gangani Productions was a Gujarati-language production company founded by Indian film diector Jashwant Gangani.

1st Logo (July 7, 1999)

Visuals: On a space background, there is a star approaching us before fading into footage from Gian Media International. When the light appears, there is an outlined image of goddess Akhilandeshwari standing on a red alligator carrying a trident zooming in at us, then the company name flashes in at us.

Technique: Motion-controlled animation.

Audio: Some strings from a swarmandal strum looping 2 times. The second time it played is lower.

Availability: Seen on Nann Sayga Ni Mediye.

2nd Logo (June 27, 2001)

Visuals: On a double vision view of the solar system, one view of clouds slowly pans to the left, while the other view of Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto pans toward the upper-left. After a few seconds, a thin yellow oval zooms towards the camera from Saturn and the clouds disappear. When the oval stops zooming, it turns green with the same goodness from before but colored. Then, as the Gujarati company name streaks in from the left underneath the oval, the view of the solar system pans to the right.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A fast drumming beat with a conch shell blowing and several dissonant swarmandal strums. As the goddess appears in the oval, a loud cymbal crash and a thunderclap follow. More harmonious swarmandal strums are heard as the company name appears.

Availability: Seen on Maiyar Ma Mandu Nathi Lagtu.

3rd Logo (February 28, 2003)

Visuals: On a blue background with colored smoke is that same goddess from before with 2 oil lamps to the left and right. then the company name fades in but next to it is a weird symbol (A "F" with two G's left and right to it, and under the "F" is a I).

Technique: Live-action and cel animation.

Audio: An Indian choir with some twinkling noises.

Availability: Seen on Mandavda Ropavo Manaraj.

4th Logo (2003)

Visuals: Faint gold ripples wave against a black background. As perforations of a film reel give away gold light, they spin from the bottom-right, then pan upright as they zoom out above the center. A light traverses across the film reel, turning it to solid red, then yellow flares draw the emblem. In roman text, letters spelling "GANGANI" spin into place below the film reel, and "FILM PRODUCTION" retract beneath, all in gold. The text "GANGANI" flares.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: An eerie droning synth followed by several whooshes and thuds throughout.

Availability: Seen on Mein To Palvde Bandhi.
