Background

HPLHS Motion Pictures is an American film production company.

1st Logo (October 7, 2005)

Visuals: An iris effect unveils the upper half of the Earth bursting lights while surrounded by clouds. A blimp containing the label "HPLHS MOTION PICTURES", in a stacked format flies over the planet from the right. When the aircraft reaches the top center, the same text fades in front of the Earth as a white engraving, followed by "LUDO FORE PUTAVIMUS", in white and with a bottom-facing shadow, below.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: The opening theme of the film.

Availability: The logo is seen on The Call of Cthulhu.

2nd Logo (March 12, 2011)

Visuals: A remake of the previous logo, the starting transition is a fade-in rather than an iris effect. The quality is crisper as the globe and blimp are shiny and larger and the background contains a partial nighttime sky. The company name in the same serif font fadess in front of the Earth with a bottom left-facing shadow before the blimp reaches the top center.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: The opening theme of the film, alongside the roar from the blimp's engine.

Availability: The logo is seen on The Whisperer in Darkness.
