Background

Hug Pictures is a Malaysian film production company owned by Mark Lee.[1]

Visuals: On a white background, several white paths swirl around the centre and burst. From the bottom, an anthropomorphic predominantly brown creature with a giant eyeball, red cap, an antenna to its right containing a smile, a small layered white torso, and black feet emerge while electric lights and solid green, white, and purple bursts spark around it. A camera with a tripod later appears and the creature bounces. When it lands on the floor, the contact creates radial gold and rainbow light waves. From the bottom, "Films for Tomorrow", in a light green-green fill and black and white outline, fly in letter by letter, followed by "#HUGpictures". During the formation of the latter text, the light waves in the background stop moving and the creature marginally rocks back and forth for the remainder of the sequence.

Technique: CGI and flash animation.

Audio: Sound effects such as bubbling, bouncing, and spring are heard with a cartoony theme. In the background, a whimsical ascending string motif plays. Following that, a little girl reads out the text on the screen in a high-pitched voice.

Availability: The logo is seen on Lubuk.
