Background

Lan Kwong Film Co. was a film production company based in Hong Kong. They were known for distributing and producing films from April 22, 1952 until July 18, 1969.



1st Logo (March 22, 1961-February 15, 1967)

Visuals: The logo starts with rays of light from the sun flashing over a wetland with rocks, including a giant one. The view of the rocks become brighter until they can clearly be seen. Then, the text "光嶺" zooms towards the camera and settles at the bottom of the screen.

Technique: A combination of practical effects and cel animation.
