Background

Lyrical Media is a Los Angeles-based film production company founded by Alex Black.

Logo (April 7, 2023-)

Visuals: On a black background, various static and solid grayscale panels appear and slide towards specified points. Eventually, most of them are filled in blue, magenta, red, or dark green colors to form a Philips circle pattern test card. The square tiles disappear to unveil a light gray background with a thin white grided texture. Then, the screen pixelates and "Lyrical", in a mix of serif and non-serif fonts as well as in the aforementioned colors, emerge, gradually zooming out and gaining quality before cutting to a small, print version of itself against a black background. The logo continues to change fonts for the first several frames after the transition. The logo stops zooming out after the font changing sequence.

Technique: Flash animation.

Audio: The opening theme of the film.

Availability: The logo is seen on How to Blow Up a Pipeline and Mother, Couch!.
