Background

Mazz Appeal Films is an American film production company.

1st Logo (November 15, 2016-January 5, 2023)

Visuals: A dark, stormy desert is shown with lightning striking a few times. Rain falls later in the sequence. After that, another lightning strike occurs, this time unveiling the logo, which consists of an engraving of the Egyptian pyramids inside a white filmstrip frame next to "MAZZ APPEAL F I L M S", in a stacked 3D format and with the former two in Impact.

Variant: There is a later version where the logo is compressed horizontally and flattened.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: The sound of rain and two thunder strikes.

Audio Variant: The later variant has the rain sound effects arriving later in the sequence.

Availability: The logo is seen on Scathing and The Haunting of Julia Fields for the early and later variants respectively.

2nd Logo (August 14, 2024)

Visuals: The majority of the sequence has the camera panning around the exterior of an Egyptian temple as well as large monuments and sculptures of Egyptian gods and mythological creatures. Eventually, the last shot has the screen slowl yzoom out to unveil the pyramids and filmstrip symbol from before but in 3D, limestone, and no base, alongside "MAZZ APPEAL FILMS" in a stacked format. By the time the screen stops, the wind, which was prevalent during the panning sequences, tames and disappears.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A proud and majestic orchestral fanfare led by horns, alongside a prevalent string and drum track.
