Background

New Blood Entertainment is an American film production company that produces horror movies.



1st Logo (October 1, 2004-2009)

Visuals: Against a horizontal oval-shaped cloudy light bursting blue lights on a black background, "NEW BLOOD ENTERTAINMENT PRESENTS", in a stacked format, CGI, a serif font, dark blue color, and with a thin white outline, is shown in front of the light. The screen slowly pans to a right profile view and marginally comes closer to the text.

Variant: On Insight of Evil, the logo is tinted red.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: The opening theme of the film.

Availability: The logo is seen on Insight of Evil and Terror Overload.

2nd Logo (October 31, 2019-)

Visuals: On a black background, the screen pans above a blue-grided wireframe landscape with blue and purple clouds seen from the distance and in the sky respectively. Not long after the start of the sequence, two outlined layers of "NOW OUR FEATURE PRESENTATION" zoom out and stop. The former and latter are magenta whereas the middle two are in light blue, contain a grided texture, have lime-shaded depth, and are placed in between two horizontal orange bars that get cut off by the placements of "NOW" and "PRESENTATION". Later, the text zooms in and the shot crossfades to a dark magenta grid with an upside-down equilateral triangle at the center. The same type of text animation as before, now with text reading "NEW BLOOD ENTERTAINMENT RELEASING PRESENTS", appears. In this half, the company name and "PRESENTS" are in red-orange and the lines are replaced with a slanted orange rounded rectangular border containing "RELEASING". Like the lines from before, portions of it are cropped off by the placement of the red-orange words. At the end, the logo zooms in.

Variants:

  • There is a shortened variant that starts at where the logo has already zoomed out against the grided background.
  • A later version features alternate text and coloring for both sequences. Here, "Our Feature Presentation" and "New Blood Entertainment Presents" are shown, with the middle words, being "Feature" and "Entertainment" being inside the lines and borders whereas the rest are magenta.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A rhythmic deep synth bass arpeggio plays throughout, plus accompanying whooshing sounds. When the first set of text appears, a deep voice reads "And now, our feature presentation" and laughs afterward.

Audio Variant: On the shortened variant, the opening theme of the film plays over.

Availability: The logo is seen on Insight of Evil 2: Vengeance and the first two Horrorathon volumes. The later variant debuted on Demented, specifically after the third logo.

3rd Logo (August 13, 2021)

Visuals: On a black background, a cartoony blood splatter is below "NEW BLOOD ENTERTAINMENT". The former has each letter in a stylized bolded font and within their own scribbled red box whereas the latter is white and fairly spaced out. Later, "PRESENTS" fades in on the bottom right section of the screen.

Technique: Fading effects.

Audio: None.

Availability: The logo is seen on Demented.
