1st Logo (June 1, 2017-May 10, 2020)

Visuals: A printed outlined graphic of a Maori hei tiki is shown on top of "NEW ZEALAND SON FILMS".

Technique: A still, digital graphic.

Audio: None or the opening or closing theme of the film or show.

Availability: The logo is seen on Coffee with Ana, The Mojave Sisters, American Bikini, and Big Trouble at Barney's, among others.

2nd Logo (March 15-27, 2021)

Visuals: On a black background, a sequential rainbow-colored ring trail zooms into the screen, gradually and marginally increasing in brightness before the hei tiki from before appears alongside the company name. It changes colors from red to purple and finally white. Before the end, the hei tiki winks.

Variant: There is a shortened variant that only shows the hei tiki winking.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: A mellow piano piece is played, beginning with a faint chorus and a set of chords before moving towards notes ascending in pitch. It ends with a single note when the tiki winks.

Availability: The logo is seen on Devil's Island and It's Not You, It's Me.

3rd Logo (October 6, 2021-)

Opening Visuals: Set at night, three objects are shown in a grass field: a billboard sign with four lights on top and featuring a 50's 2D animated picture of Rita in an advertisement, a black antique car, and a UFO crash landed on the right with fire burning on the ground and steam coming out of the ship to the left. Later "NEW ZEALAND SON FILMS", in a glowing format, fades in above.

Closing Visuals: This version follows the same look and structure as before except the setting is marginally brighter where the background trees against a dark blue sky are visible and Sean & Taylor King peak from behind the three objects, looking both ways before returning down.

Variant: The advertisement on the billboard sign may vary for each movie:

  • The Wedding Trip/Moving Valentine: Rita, in a green jacket, yells "GET OUT!!!" as her thumb is directed toward a truck, featuring "LONG DISTANCE", driving out of a gray city; both objects are on top of "Rita's MOVING". The background is deep sky blue
  • Morbid: On a light blue background, Rita is a waitress holding a tray containing a white mug filled with tea. A decorated cup and plate, the former containing tea, is on the left, and "Rita's MAGIC TEA MADE WITH PSILOCYBINI" is featured in between. The former word is to the upper left of "MAGIC TEA" and the tagline is to its bottom right.
  • The Vampire Next Door: An advertisement for an ice cream shop is shown, featuring Rita in a green shirt and light blue apron holding a tray of chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla ice cream in different glass dishes. She is rising out of a tiled black-bordered diamond box, above two solid black copies with the bottom stretching to the right as a trapezoid, containing "TWO SCOOPS ARE BETTER THAN ONE!" on the right. "Rita's ICE CREAM Shop" is shown in the same format as the above variant but with the latter word masked through a green circle.
  • Alien Weekend: In the style of a painted B-movie poster, Rita, in a green spacesuit, is wielding a space ray and is to the right of a rocket blasting in a dark blue space background with smoke and clouds surrounding the setting. "RITA'S INTERGALACTIC SPACE ADVENTURES" is shown with all but "INTERGALACTIC" in white, the former to said word's upper left, and the latter two below "INTERGALACTIC" to the left.

Technique: Live-action modeling effects.

Audio: Nighttime ambiance, alongside space warbling sounds, steam, and faint buzzing.

Audio Variant: Sometimes, the opening or closing theme of the film plays over.

Availability: The logo is seen on The Wedding Trip, Morbid, The Vampire Next Door, Alien Weekend, among other films.
