Background

Punks Film Productions is an American film production company.

Logo (May 17, 2024)

Visuals: On a black background, a silver panel of smaller tiles is formed. After flipping vertically to the back side (set to beige), the panel is joined by several more tiles either in said color or black. Together, they create a pixel art of a man's head with a mohawk and beard. Zooming out further, an array of these heads with the same head layout and varied facial hair, skin, and headwear appear alongside the initial one. After the screen stops zooming, all the heads dissolve and the shot is replaced with "PUNKS FILM PRODUCTIONS", in an 8-bit font, against a starry background. In the end, the sequence disappears through the same pixelated dissolve effect.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A rising synth ambiance track plays, increasing in quantity to have a choral-like effect until the revelation of the company name. Throughout the sequence, bit-crunched glitching sound effects play for the zooming pixels and the end shot disappearing.

Availability: The logo is seen on Calladita.
