Background

Robel Films is a New York City-based film production company.



1st Logo (January 30, 2011-March 24, 2014)

Visuals: On a white or black background, a detailed and uncanny, outlined graphic of a wide-eyed lamb's head is on top of "ROBEL!" in Courier.

Variant: On And Here No Devil Can Hurt You, the text is omitted.

Technique: A still, digital graphic.

Audio: None.

Availability: The logo is seen on My Little Friend, And Here No Devil Can Hurt You, and NSFW: Not Safe for Work.

2nd Logo (June? 2013-July 25, 2018)

Visuals: The logo from before, now with a thicker stroke and drawn by a chalkboard, is on a blackboard background.

Variant: On Alma's Secret, the logo is in the same state as before and the blackboard background is different with alternate marks and a darker appearance.

Technique: A still, digital graphic.

Audio: None.

Availability: The logo is seen on Ice Saints, The Sad and Lonely Glow, and the end of Alma's Secret.

3rd Logo (October 10, 2018)

Visuals: On a dimly lit medium purple grid background with a VHS overlay, a large and filled in, upside-down triangle is shown in the center. "ROBEL", in a chrome texture, zooms out while leaving a solid trail from behind, placing itself on top of the triangle. Then, a sparkling light wipes in "FILMS", in violet and a handwritten calligraphic font, below. Following this, "NEW YORK CITY" fades in above "ROBEL".

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: None.

Availability: The logo is seen on Blood Dreams.

4th Logo (August 4, 2021)

Visuals: On a muted pink background, the logo deblurs and slowly zooms in. The logo is shown to consist of a symmetrical, front-facing lamb with fleece on top of "ROBEL FILMS NEW YORK CITY" in a stacked format.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: The opening theme of the film.

Availability: The logo is seen on Ex Ex Ex.
