Background

Rowdy Pictures is an Indian film production company founded by Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara.

Visuals: Each letter from the gold world "ROWDY" are seen forming from various movie-themed shots and sequences on a brown-tinted background, which include:

  • The "R" on a single movie script page released from a typewriter, among other pages.
  • The screen panning over two film cameras on top of an "O" and traveling through the said object to display a copy of said letter against a curving filmstrip and film reel.
  • Filming of the "W" against a wall of "K"'s and spinning film reels.
  • Confetting falling with the "D" present in a movie theater.
  • The screen slides upwards to show an orchestra against a city and black filmstrip, alongside a giant "Y" in between two laurel wreaths and "NA" and "AN" on the left and right of the background.

Lastly, the formed text is shown with the screen panning from a side to front view, zooming out to show the logo, including"PICTURES" with an upwards arch inside a gold box and "PRESENTS" below, with a burst from behind and a blurred shot of a city at nighttime.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Beginning with a rhythmic set of synthesized percussions, the second half features fast and triumphant horns performing alongside the drums. Accompanying sound effects are also heard such as typing from a typewriter, rolling from a film camera, and an audience cheering.
