Logo (October 30, 1990-1992)

Visuals: On a black background, there is a stylized abstract "RV" symbol with the colors of the Russian flag, with "RUSSKOJE VIDEO" next to it, and two white thin bars, one below that is rounded within the symbol.

Variants:

  • An animated version exists on home video releases: On a black background, the compressed words for "RUSSKOJE VIDEO" slide from below and settle in their places off-center. The elements for the symbol form in, and when it's finished, the words stretch in and settle atop of the symbol.
  • On Palach, the logo shares screen with the Ladoga logo, the below bar is red, and the text is in cornflower blue.
  • On Tayna, the logo slowly zooms into the screen.

Technique: A still, printed image.

Audio: None.

Audio Variant: For the animated version, a brief synth triumphant fanfare.

Availability: Seen on Palach, Afghan Breakdown and Tayna.
