Background

Sapthaswara Movie Makers was a film production company from India.

1st Logo (December 2, 1977)

Visuals: On a tan background, there is a plum lotus flower on top of an ocean surface with a rudra veena with ornate ends and two padded resonators underneath it on top of said flower. The objects are against a bright sun symbol with multiple bordered lines. Below the image, there is "ಸಪ್ತಸ್ವರ ಮೂವಿ ಮೇಕ‌ರ್". Later on, the screen slowly zooms into the central objects.

Technique: Camera controlled animation.

Audio: A veena track plays throughout the sequence, beginning with an ascending set of notes. After said set, a rising, ascending chorus is heard alongside the veena.

Availability: This logo is seen on Galate Samsara.

2nd Logo (March 27, 1982)

Visuals: The objects from before, with the rudra veena and resonators in brown and the lotus flower in white, are against a blue sky background with a rainbow arched over them and clouds covering the lower section of the screen, quickly floating to the left. "SAPTHASWARA MOVIE MAKERS SALIGRAMA", with the latter word smaller and underneath the company name, is superimposed into the shot.

Technique: Live-action modeling and practical effects.

Audio: An ascending sitar plays for about two third of the logo sequence, ending with an echoed set of notes. Afterwards, a vibraphone arpeggio plays.
