Background

Seoul Film Co., Ltd. (㈜서울필림) was a South Korean film production and distribution company.

Logo (June 25, 1988-1992)

Visuals: On a space background, a laser appears forming the outline of a geometric monogram "SF". The outline flashes and becomes filled in with a metallic gold color. A small red square appears, forming part of the "F" from "SF". The monogram then zooms out and flashes lightly as "서울필림" in a gradient gold color appears wiping in from top to bottom below. "SEOUL FILM CO., LTD." in white then appears flashing underneath. The monogram shines.

Technique: Cel animation.

Audio: A triumphant fanfare.

Availability: This logo is seen on films such as Gam-dong and A Pale Rainy Day.
