Background

The Butcher Brothers are the filmmaking monikers of the American film directors Mitchell Altieri and Phil Flores.

Logo (August 16, 2024)

Visuals: A red butcher's knife spins clockwise and zooms out on a gold background, leaving a dissolving multicolored trail that merges back into the main copy. Then, while there are light leaks, the screen zooms into the knife's fill to show a white flattened version of "THE BUTCHER BROTHERS", with the latter two made up of the butcher's knife's blade and both sharing the "B". The logo gains depth to its bottom left, starting off gold before changing colors to black.

Technique: 2D computer animation in the style of a 35mm film.

Audio: Beginning with a drum roll, a deep synthesized horn fanfare is performed, ending with a set of drums and one last drum roll.

Availability: The logo is seen on Consumed.
