Background

The Group Entertainment is an independent film, documentary, television and music video production company established in 2007, formerly based in New York City and currently in Louisville, Kentucky.[1]

Logo (January 20, 2008-October 13, 2012)

Visuals: On a white background, a red sphere falls and bounces at an invisible floor, where it's shadow is visible. The sphere bounces for about 5 seconds before easing out. The sphere fades to a circle, as the script "tge" writes in. Both of them flip, which reveals "the group entertainment" next to the "tge" script only, separated with a vertical bar when flipping back into view.

Variant: On 2nd Serve, the color is changed to lime for the sphere and script.

Technique: Flash animation.

Audio: None, though for 2nd Serve, sounds of a ball bouncing are heard in sync with the sphere's action.

Availability: It's on-screen logo so far we're shown on Were the World Mine, Flow: For Love of Water, The War Boys and 2nd Serve. All other recent films in collaboration feature in-credit text only.
